How will you use your 90,000 hours?
This is a question I recently posed to students attending the inaugural Careers, Life and Yale event on October 17. Sponsored by the Association for Yale Alumni, the day brought students and alumni together to talk about career vision, professional etiquette, interviewing, global citizenship, and life after Yale. It also urged students to think deeply about how to use the 90,000 hours they will spend working over their lifetime. How do you make your work meaningful? Why does meaningful work matter?
